Ear Piercing

Arya had her ears pierced on Jan 17, 2007 Wednesday. Well we went to mall on Tuesday to get it done and I guess Suganya needed more time to think and well I did not wanted to rush it too. So we went again on Wednesday to mall and got it done at Claires. Yes Arya was all in tears and crying loud and clear. I think more then the pain she was scared of the ear piercing gun’s shot going off. But after piercing that evening she did fine and now after two weeks she is doing good with it. Piercing in India is different experience it is usually done in jewellery shop by goldsmith. Ends of the earing are sharpened and that becomes needle for piercing, Atleast thats how I got my ear pierced. On ya, I had my ear pierced during my college days, my dad was against it but I did it any ways with my mom’s help and well it was a painfull experience from what I remember and yes guy who pierced my ear did not wear any golve or apply any lotion, as they do it here and he did not make me sign 4 times on any document. Yes For Arya I had to sign a consent form and initial atleast 5 times. That is very common in USA and now after living 8+ years here, I am getting in terms with it. But one thing I like here is they explain and provide you with all the informaiton and then it is upto you make choices.
